10 non-profits, 2.5 minutes, game time!
The Victory Cup is a prestigious competition that exists to help non-profits get their mission in front of some of Central Florida’s leaders and business owners.
These 10 finalists are selected by a group of over 100 community evaluators, then put through 3 months of “story telling training” in preparation for the big competition day!
On Thursday, February 1st, in front of hundreds, at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, The VERB Kind Founder, Haley Hunt, gave a powerful, passionate and heart piercing pitch for 150 seconds in hopes to move the crowd with a motivation to join our mission. Hunt’s outspoken passion to change the lives of incarcerated youth left a mark on every soul in the room and lead her to taking home the first place prize: $30,000 for The VERB Kind!
We also won the junior version of The Victory Cup help at Winter Park High School! We are insanely grateful for this honor, and are excited to see all the lives that will be impacted.
